Cabinet Records boss Daniel Paul talked to Timo about his long career in electronic music. He also found the time to mix an excellent cinematic guest set for your listening pleasure. In this interview we talk about his roots, the electronic music scene in the early 90's Berlin, his relationship with Richie Hawtin, Cabinet Records, the process that eventually materialized as the new album and of course, the excellent guest mix he did for us!

Another excellent mix by one of the most interesting talents on the current deep house scene, Deymare. The man of the moment has been busy during this year, after his previous guest mix back in march (in case you missed it, grab it now) he has released ep's on Etoka Records, Arteqcue & Maxime Records. All essential in any self-respecting deep house dj's record bag or ..errr.. harddrive. This mix, again, is just so good I won't even bother trying to come up with a comprehensive set of superlatives. Smooth & jazzy with a twist - what makes me happy is the fact that there's still a lot of quality house music out there and people like Deymare keeping it alive. Timeless mix, make sure you leave feedback if you dig it as much as I do! James Duncan, The Popular People's Front, Orlando Voorn, DJ Sneak etc.

I think I managed to build this mix around Rezkar's 'Any Day Now' quite nicely. Starting up slowly with arppeggiated synth lines overlapping each other from one track to the other. Let's build some tension with more bass heavy tracks. And then, Rezkar heads for heights... Deep house at its finest!
