Black Dominoes New DJ Mix: Black Dominoes and the Light Touch (HTML→MP3)

BLACK DOMINOES AND THE LIGHT TOUCH

It's like the old Hollertronix mixtapes on steroids.
Most 'Internet DJ' mixes sound like the same song being played 10 times in a row...This guy really brings depth and variety to his mixes without losing focus.

This mix isn't about the newest most exclusive club banger tracks that you'll forget about 6 months from now. It's not a bunch of played-out standards either. The tracklist challenges the listener without taking too many turns or confusing anyone.

Remember when DJing was more than having Serato and a couple hours to download 'hot tracks?'

Watch out for DJ Black Dominoes in 2008.
His Vampire Weekend remix got NPR and BBC radio play amongst other places, and this mix is very promising. - Source Site:www.zshare.net

Mataklap - Pixelpimpin' (HTML→MP3)

A sequel to 'Glitches&Bling', this mix has a strong focus on micromusic, chiptunes, 8-bit-sound, whatever you want to call it, as well as a big chunk of electro of all sorts. Some hip-hop and electronica as added sprinkles. The endresult is a bit like getting drunk with your neighbour's 18 year old daughter: slightly immature, not exceptionally stimulating for the brain, but it's fun. Plus, there's booty.

Crystal Castles - Airwar (streetlab VS Eamon Harkin mix) (MP3)

Crystal Castles are a Toronto-based 8-bit duo most notable for their remix of the Klaxons' 'Atlantis to Interzone'. Feeding their synth into an 8-bit Atari chip, results in the spastic blips that occupy their EP, Alice Practice. Streetlab collaborated with one of NYC's best DJs, Eamon Harkin, to remix their single 'Airwar'. - Source Site:http://www.streetlab.net
