Blentwell's seventh Podcast radio show devoted to bringing exclusive mixes to you from the best new DJs around the world. This episode comes at us from world-roving laptop Guerilla, Filastine. We first heard about Filastine by way of Dj /Rupture on his Low Income Tomorrowland mix with Filastine's first single "Judas Goat" lending a hand to the mix as one of the stand out cuts. Then Filastine followed it up with Burn It in 2006 coming out on Soot Records. The sound of Filastine can only be defined as a genre hoping style that skims the phonic textures of the globe and blends them with whatever beat patterns are booming in his brain. Most of his productions have a loose confederacy with the political urgings of mid-eighties punk rock yet they are balanced by his experiences around the world with other cultures. Regarding Blentcast no7 - Filastine says that this set is his best mix/remix/production since 'Burn It'. So get ready for some serious breakcore, dubstep, whitelabel riddims in this awesome mix.
