Just get ready to boogie... a little nugget of hip wiggling electro - frisco - dancefloor grease from the Texture Djs. Who are the Texture Djs? Well I'm not really sure but they've been at it for over 2 yrs and have accrued 32 previous mixes worthy of a click-n-listen. I've had this mix open for the past week and whenever I was about to close the player I would start it up again and then be sucked in until that dope fidgit-style Beastie Boys remix at the end. Word to the Texture crew!

Blentwell's ninth Podcast radio show devoted to bringing exclusive mixes to you from the best new DJs around the world. This episode is brought to us from known BK party-rocker - Dre Skull. We got a taste of Dre Skull's style a while back when he did a mix for Sweden's DiscoBelle(a must bookmark kinda site!). To keep tabs on him be sure to check his site. This mix that he did for us is insane! So many quality cuts sliced and diced into a healthy salad of dancefloor anthems. So fire up your downloader or podcaster of choice and get this mix in your ears as fast as possible. From personal experience: driving while blasting this mix will cause you to speed - be warned. Oh yeah and Dre gets props for dropping known floor fillers like 'Pump up the Jam' and 'Born Slippy' (instead of spelunking for some obscure B-side bullshit - that so many 'eclectic' Djs are prone to play)

Citizen Kane Live in the Mix (MP3)

When I hear about a DJ selecting unheard Disco gems and roping them together I do not really have high hopes. I mean the whole disco universe of music is a finite thing. How deep can you really dig? Well Citizen Kane proves all theories wrong with this killer mix of unheard gems blended with familiar grooves. And as a standout in the middle of the mix there is a killer disco groove that obviously influenced JayDee's "Plastic Dreams". Sweet boogie gold.
