Favela Clash - Cassiano (Nossa) (HTML→MP3)
Gotta admit I took my time cracking this mix open. I've been overwhelmed with a ton of mediocre Baile Funk mixes lately and they are all starting to sound the same. Within the genre there are a few stand out mixes (Diplo, Sujinho, Marlboro) that are floating around. But there are also HUNDREDS of lackluster baile funk mixes with the same 12 songs! Well let me take full blame - MY BAD! Cassiano (partner in Nossa with Sujinho) brings the fun back to Baile Funk with this mix made up of Brazillian flavors mixed up with some new dancefloor heat. Def. recommended (even if it is a damn zShare link!)
Genres: baile funk, club, funk, hip-hop, techno

Diplo vs. SantoGold - Top Ranking (HTML→MP3)
This is kinda like - Piracy funds Terrorism volume 2. Rather than MIA (who is no longer workin' Diplo's microphone) this time out SantoGold hops on board. If you really dig it you can buy a CD version (check the source site link). Tons of styles and oodles of yet to be released Santo remixes crop up in this banging summertime mixtape.
Genres: classic cuts, club, dance tracks, dancehall, dirty south, dubstep, reggae
David Morales - VIP Defected Mix (MP3)

Dj Reset - Winter 2007 Tokyo Mix (MP3)
What is Dj Reset's problem? Hasn't he heard that mash-ups are over? I mean get with the times dude... pitchfork said they were over back around the Grey Album. But WAIT A MINUTE! This mix is fucking hot! How can I still be a card carrying Blog-bot yet still shake my ass to mash-ups? Oh no I am so conflicted! Is Romeo Void cool again or is it retro? Egads a Led Zep remix that doesn't suck!?! It might just be easiest to hate on everything - trouble is this mix is so chocked full of hot-ass remixes that Ive never heard it is gonna be tough to hate it all.
Genres: blends, club, house, mash-up, remixes

Jonty Skrufff - Land of the Free (MoS Radio) (MP3)
He's back again with his signature sleaze-n-tweak electro sounds - Jonty Skruff Live in the Mix on Ministry of Sound Radio! Having spent much of the summer travelling around the club underground (Ibiza, Berlin, London, Brazil, etc.) Jonty has been leaving dancefloors wrecked. Alongside his partner in Skrufff Fidelity Kastrow - this duo have been pushing the electro sound well beyond the safe compilation fodder that is the current rage. The mix is made up of a solid electro foundation peppered with raunchy samples combined with tweaked out fidget basslines that'll dislodge any ear wax. With all of the layering and crossmixing going on it is hard to believe that this was a one take mix!
Genres: club, electro, fidget, house, techno

DJ 2nd Nature - DVJ Video Mix (Quicktime)
When I hear about video mixing I always think of EBN back in the day. Really cool but kinda nerdy stutter-style eye candy. But 2nd Nature takes it to a whole new level! Part mash-up, part video, part mixset this raises the bar for club DJs. Definitely on the pop side of club tracks so for you white label snobs you should probably pass this bye.
Genres: club, crunk, mash-up, pop, rock, video
