Apologies for the delay posting this week. This episode was available on the RSS feed much earlier (go subscribe!) Our special guest this week is Marquee69, a Brooklyn resident. As you know by now, we like to change it up once in a while, this episode is one of those cases. The styles on this mix are multifaceted and synergetic, in essence, it works well. From the streets of London, Miami, and New York, Marquee69’s music is as rich and diverse as the cultures he’s experienced. Hearing him jump from a distorted piano to a rich bass to a soft jazz high-hat is a melodic rollercoaster; you’re constantly twisted in unanticipated directions. Gritty, melodious, raw, and refined Marquee69’s music is a series of contradictions brilliantly blended into a style that is all his own; BANGING!
