Apologies for the lack of posting the podcast last week, I had a significant crisis to deal with at work. So, to make up for it, we're posting a 2 part live session from our weekly Skylab party. For your Post-Turkey Day recovery, we present to you the return of Unjust to ABL:Radio. Regular listeners will remember her marvelous mix, "Liminal," she did for us back in September. On this week's episode we're taken on another voyage to Technolandia with a healthy focus on early the 90's sound with flourishes of IDM. This mix is in no manner dated, on the contrary, the selections are eternal classics baked together with Unjust's masterful sense of the genre. If your interested in hearing Unjust out in the wild, keep your eyes peeled, she's frequently playing around town. Also, you're likely to run into her on the floor as I did at the Luke Vibert party last week in Bushwick's 3rd Ward event space.

If you've enjoyed Adam's episodes on ABL:Radio you're in for a real treat this week. This week we are taking you on a trek through minimal techno land with our special guest Unjust in command. She comes from South Florida, land of palm trees and sunshine, where her musical taste was influenced by freestyle, bass, Miami-grown idm, and techno. Albums that were the turning point for her were Artificial Intelligence and Meat Beat's Satyricon. Since then she has always tried to bring something different to the mix and is certainly not a purist. Throwing minimal techno parties in Miami and playing bass at the Bunker in New York are her ways of keeping it real.

Adam takes us on another expedition though a deep and transcendental blend of techno. Just because it's the end of summer doesn't mean he's been slacking. To the contrary, his mixes just keep getting tighter. If I were a Sufi poet listening to this mix I might meditate for a while and say something like, "This mix embodies the mystic feelings of the last days of summer and is like the time in life when pleasures last forever and death is to be defied, the zenith when the slide into autumn is unamaginable."

As an ABL:Radio regular, hopefully you're starting to get to know our established DJs. For this week's incarnation Adam Smith has been inspired to make an all-Svek mix. The record label is no more, but the influence of the Swedish label (Jasper Dahlbäck, Carl Lekebusch and Stephan Grieder all had a hand in its success) is still being felt across minimal and tech-house domain.
